The nonprofit shop keeps donations local, offers clean, well-organized aisles, and even provides limited assistance like clothing vouchers through an on-site Bishop's office, making it a valuable resource for budget-conscious families and neighbors in need.
   

• North Las Vegas to break ground on major I-215 trail expansion (fox5vegas.com) — North Las Vegas is about to break ground on a 2.7-mile I-215 Northern Beltway Trail extension, expanding the city's 70-plus miles of public paths. The project, starting with a Sept. 23 ceremony at Aviary Park, is the first leg of a long-term 45-mile corridor eventually linking North Las Vegas to Henderson.
   

• EAC Men's Soccer Continues Strong Start With 5-0 Shutout at Souther Nevada (eacmonsters.com) — College soccer fans in North Las Vegas saw Eastern Arizona College dominate the College of Southern Nevada with a 5-0 shutout, limiting the Coyotes to just two shots. The match showcased a powerful EAC offense led by Khi Caban and Jean Carlos, and a defense that controlled play from kickoff through the final whistle.
