Alleged Amherst Crack Cocaine, Heroin Dealer Arrested

Police charge Jason Dessureault with multiple felony level drug charges.

A local man was arrested yesterday on warrants after an undercover investigation into alleged drug dealing in Amherst.

Jason Dessureault, 33, of Amherst, was arrested on June 11, 2015, on multiple felony level drug charges.

According to police, investigators were looking into allegation that Dessureault was reportedly dealing heroin and crack cocaine from his parents’ home. Officers executed search and arrest warrants last night which “resulted in several additional felony drug charges,” according to Chief Mark O. Reams of the Amherst Police Department.

Dessureault was held on $20,000 cash bail and was scheduled to be in court today on a probably cause hearing.

According to posts online, Dessureault has been arrested numerous times including for DWI, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and warrants.
