Alleged Obama Mask Robber, Bomb Threat Perp Indicted

Plus, alleged heroin dealer indicted, man indicted for DWI, drugs in Merrimack, Nashua man indicted for allegedly drowning bearded dragons.

NASHUA, NH - The following people were indicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court recently:

Joseph Prescott, 33, of County Drive in Laconia, on two counts of felony receiving stolen property. On July 31, 2015, in Nashua, he allegedly disposed of a chainsaw that was owned by another. On Nov. 4, 2015, he allegedly disposed of a wood splitter in Nashua. Prescott was previously convicted of theft in May 2005 in Carroll County Superior Court and January 2004 in Laconia District Court.

Melvin Reyes, 24, of Cross Street in Nashua, for three sale of narcotic drug counts (heroin), all felonies. He allegedly sold to an undercover Nashua Police officer on June 30, July 2, and Aug. 3, 2015.

Matthew Salvail, 36, of Blackstone Drive in Nashua, for driving while intoxicated and felony possession of a narcotic drug (fentanyl) on the Everett Turnpike in Merrimack on Dec. 19, 2015.

Jeffrey Shepard, 34, with a last known address of Martin Street in Nashua, for felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Nov. 13, 2015, in Nashua for allegedly taking control of a cellphone owned by another person. He was convicted of theft in 2012 and 2014.

Javier Suarez, 47, of Central Street in Nashua, for domestic violence-second-degree assault, domestic violence-criminal threatening, and domestic violence, all felonies. Between Nov. 25, and Nov. 26, 2015, he allegedly placed a knife against a Nashua woman’s throat, threatened her with it, while stating, “I’m going to kill you” or words to that effect.

Ronald J. Szettella, 43, currently incarcerated, for two counts of armed robbery and criminal threatening, all felonies. On Sept. 26, 2013, he allegedly claimed there was a bomb at the Pelham Elementary School. On Sept. 13, on Sept. 28, 2014, he donned an Obama mask and allegedly pointed a deadly weapon at people in two Pelham businesses and demanded money.

Nadia Torrez/Neida Lopez, 36, with a last known address of Haverhill Street in Lawrence, MA, for felony receiving stolen property and theft by unauthorized taking. Also indicted in the same case was Carmen Velazquez/Zuleyka Pimetel/Maribel Arroyo, 42, with a last known address of Willow Street in Lowell, MA, for felony receiving stolen property. On Sept. 2, 2015, in Merrimack, they allegedly retained property from the NIKE store in excess of $1,500.

Richard Waite, 32, currently incarcerated, for two counts of felony cruelty to animals, for allegedly torturing and drowning two bearded dragons, owned by a Nashua woman, on Aug. 30, 2015.

Richard D. Wilson, 50, of Cherry Street in Milford, for felony habitual offender. On Sept. 15, 2015, he was alleged arrested on Union Street in Milford after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.
