3 In NH Arrested On Drug Charges

Jose Rueda and Julia Roberson were arrested on drug dealing charges in Manchester while Asia Morel was charged with possession today.

MANCHESTER, NH — A multi-month investigation into drug activity on Bridge Street in Manchester led to charges against three this morning, according to police. Jose Rueda, 20, and Julia Roberson, 34, both of Bridge Street in Manchester, were arrested on Jan. 12, 2018, for felony sale of a controlled drug. Also arrested today was Asia Morel, 21, of Bridge Street in Manchester, for felony possession of a controlled drug.

The trio were arrested this morning after the Queen City’s Special Enforcement Division executed a search warrant of a home “following an investigation for several months,” noted Sgt. Michael Biron of the Manchester Police Department.

“A search of this location uncovered a quantity of heroin/fentanyl, crack cocaine, marijuana, and $4,480 in U.S. currency,” he alleged.

All three will be arraigned at a later date in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North.

Last year, Rueda, then a resident of Dubuque Street, was indicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North for reckless conduct and falsifying physical evidence, both felonies, after allegedly firing a gun, injuring himself, and hiding a shell case in the trash on Jan. 17, 2017, in Manchester. Morel was also indicted last year for felony falsifying physical evidence for allegedly hiding a firearm on Jan. 18, 2017, in Manchester, believing that an investigation was imminent. Morel, according to a post on Patch, was also arrested in January 2017, for willful concealment in Bedford.
