Manchester Man Pleads Guilty After Bedford Negligent Homicide Crash
Deng Chol Mabor was sentenced in Hillsborough County Superior Court to 1.5- to 7-years in prison and an indefinite loss of his license.

BEDFORD, NH — A Manchester man has pleaded guilty to negligent homicide-driving under the influence and reckless conduct after a crash last summer in Bedford. Deng M. Chol Mabor, 40, of Manchester, pleaded guilty to the charges on Sept. 6, 2017, in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North in the death of Thon Kuai of Manchester. A female passenger was also injured in the crash after Chol Mabor struck a utility pole and flipped over the vehicle on South River Road in Bedford in July 2016.
Chol Mabor, according to Bedford Police Chief John J. Bryfonski, received a 1.5- to 7-year sentence in jail with a pre-trial credit of 402 days. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Bedford NH Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
Bryfonski noted that Chol Mabor has also indefinitely lost his license.

Chol Mabor was also given seven years probation after being released from prison.
