Queen City Cops Seek Suspects In Mid-February Basketball Game Melee

Active warrants have been issued against Kalif Jackson of Manchester, Lewis Jennings of Worcester, MA, and Shyquinn Dix of Bridgeport, CT.

MANCHESTER, NH — Three men — one from the Queen City and two from out of state, are wanted on charges after a basketball game melee in mid-February, according to Manchester police.

Police were called to the Manchester Ballers Association on Sundial Avenue on Feb. 15, for a report of a fight. A man, in his early 20s, was found with facial injuries. During the investigation, police found out the victim was assault by several people, according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the department.

“The investigation revealed that an argument had erupted between members of opposing teams on the basketball court,” she said.

Three suspects were identified and warrants were issued against them: Kalif Jackson, 27, of Manchester, is wanted on simple assault and violation of bail charges, Lewis Jennings, 33, of Worcester, Massachusetts, is wanted on a felony second-degree assault charge, and Shyquinn Dix, 31, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, faces felony second-degree assault and simple assault charges.

According to posts on Patch, Dix is no stranger to police. As a teen, he was arrested for carrying a dangerous weapon in June 2012 in Stamford, CT. About four years later, Dix was arrested for failure to show up for forgery charges. In July 2021, after an attack at a Stamford restaurant, he was arrested on first- and second-degree assault charges, along with two other Connecticut men.
