Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Marks the Grand Opening of PetWell Clinic

Greater Manchester Chamber ribbon cutting ceremony highlighted innovation and entrepreneurship in Manchester.

Manchester welcomed a unique addition to its roster of businesses with the ribbon cutting ceremony of PetWell Clinic on July 12th at The Shoppes, located at 655 South Willow Street. The event, hosted by the Greater Manchester Chamber, showcased the vision and passion of owner Cort Mendez, who aims to provide exceptional veterinary care in a one-of-a-kind setting.

Mendez expressed his initial enthusiasm for the PetWell Clinic model. "When PetWell Clinic came across my desk, I was like, wow- let me look more into it. I really love the model," he shared with a smile, highlighting the innovative approach that sets PetWell Clinic apart from traditional veterinary practices.

The journey to establish the clinic was not without its challenges, as Mendez explained, "It took a very long time to actually find our first veterinarian. But, I was fortunate enough to actually get two veterinarians." This determination to assemble a talented team of professionals reflects Mendez's commitment to delivering top-notch care to the beloved pets of the Greater Manchester area.

Mendez went on to reassure pet owners about the clinic's unique approach to handling emergencies. "We'll definitely take care of you. We don't triage, like a lot of emergencies. If you're number three in line, you keep your place. And then we'll kind of give you an idea about what it's going to cost, depending on what we know." This customer-centric philosophy ensures that every pet receives the attention they deserve without compromising on transparency.

The clinic's comprehensive facilities were also highlighted during the ceremony. "We do have a lab right here so we can do a fair amount of lab work. If it's something that needs to be sent out, we do work with a reference lab, and, we’ll generally have a result back the next day," Mendez explained. This commitment to efficient and accurate diagnostic services underscores PetWell Clinic's dedication to providing comprehensive care.
