2 New Hampshire Fugitives Now In Custody: NH DOC Follow-Up
Leroy Howard Boynton and Paul James LaPlante were wanted by the NH Department of Corrections on warrants. They were both arrested last week.

CONCORD, NH — Two recent New Hampshire Department of Corrections fugitives of the week are now in custody, according to state officials.
Both Leroy Howard Boynton and Paul James LaPlante were taken into custody late last month.
LaPlante, who was featured in May, was wanted on a probation violation after being convicted of indecent exposure or lewdness. He turned himself in to the Cheshire County Department of Corrections on Sept. 26.

“LaPlante is currently being held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections awaiting arraignment for failing to register as a sex offender and for a bail hearing on his violation of probation charge,” the department said.
Boynton was featured in July. The Belknap County Sheriff’s Department arrested him on Sept. 27 on Lafayette Street in Laconia.

“During the search conducted at the time of his arrest,” officials said, “controlled drugs were discovered, leading to additional charges for possession.”
