An officer inspected the door, which had “apparent” damage while another officer stopped Ball in his pickup truck. The woman stated the pair got into an argument in Laconia earlier and she decided to head home to Concord. During that time, she received angry texts from him, the affidavit stated, and he came to their home later and damaged the door when she did not want to talk. Other officers interviewed Ball and accused him of denying he was at the home but arrested him. After he was arrested, Ball said, “You can’t be arrested for damaging your own property,” according to the affidavit. During booking, while speaking with a relative, the officer accused Ball of saying, “She’s telling the cops about all of the things that I did and trying to hold me accountable for that.” He was held without bail.
