For 2022, Concord Will Host 2 Memorial Day Parades Honoring The Fallen
After canceling the last 2 years, the traditional Concord event returns with a new route. Penacook Village will also host one this year.

CONCORD, NH — In 2020 and 2021, Memorial Day parades were canceled in the city of Concord.
For 2022, the city has two.
The Penacook Village Association will be hosting a Memorial Day parade at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 29. The parade will start at the Merrimack Valley High School grounds and run to Beede Drive, then north onto Village Street, onto Washington Street and end at the Washington Street School.

The parade will stop at Boudreau Square for a moment of reflection.
Streets along the parade route will be closed until around 11 a.m., according to the city.

On Monday, May 30, the Concord Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by the Concord Veterans Council, returns after a two-year hiatus due to coronavirus.
The parade will start at 9 a.m. at Christ the King Parish on South Main Street and continue north on Main Street to Park Street. From there, it continues around the Statehouse and ends on the Statehouse Plaza for a closing ceremony and a wreath-laying. Bands from the Rundlett Middle School and Concord High School will be performing.
The route has changed since 2019, when it would start on Storrs Street and run to the Old North Cemetery at North State and Bouton streets and then return to the Statehouse plaza.
