3,281 Burgers Sold at Burgerfest
The Barley House's annual fundraiser for Fred's Fund for the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth sets a new record.

Last week’s Burgerfest event was a record breaker, according to Brian Shea, the owner of The Barley House Restaurant in Concord, selling 3,281 burgers during the nine-day event.
More than 3,000 designated beers for the event were also sold helping to raise a total of $9,600 for the effort.
The winning burger was the Bacon Weave Juicy Lucy. The Barley House sold 759 of those burgers (Editor’s Note: I had that one and it was really good).

The money raised will go to Fred’s Fund to be spent at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit), according to Shea.
