Amherst Police Log: Milford Man Arrested on Gun Charge

Incidents

• 6:51 a.m. on May 8, 2015: Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on the Route 101 eastbound off ramp to Route 101A. No injuries were reported.
• 8:01 a.m. on May 12: Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on the Route 101 eastbound off ramp to Route 101A. No injuries were reported.
• May 12, 2015: Amherst Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident which occurred in the parking lot of 109 Route 101A.

Arrests

Karla Abril Vazquez Villa, 24, of Manchester, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on May 13, on a charge of driving without a valid license. Vazquez Villa was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 4, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Ashley Leighton, 27, of Amherst, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. on May 13, on a charge of fugitive from justice. Leighton was held without bail, and was arraigned in the Nashua District Court on May 14, 2015.

Tyler Justin Cooney, 20, of Milford, was arrested at 7:26 p.m. on May 13, on a charge of driving while under the influence of drugs or liquor. Cooney was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for May 21, 2015 at the Milford District Court.

Gino Olsen, 22, of Milford, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on May 13, on a charge of carrying a loaded handgun w/o a license. Olsen was released on $1000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 4, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Dennis Dayton, 53, of Milford, was arrested at 6:35 a.m. on May 14, on a charge of driving after suspension. Dayton was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for May 21, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Christian Tofte, 57, of Milford, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. on May 14, on a charge of suspended registrations. Tofte was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 4, 2015, at the Milford District Court.
