2 Transitional Housing Unit Inmates Placed On Escape Status, New Hampshire Corrections Department Says

CONCORD, NH — Two minimum-security inmates from the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester were placed on escape status, according to the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.

The department said Aris Karamousianis and James Brouillard signed out of the transitional housing unit at 11:05 a.m. Monday to seek employment. Neither man returned to the facility by 5:30 p.m. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

Karamousianis is 43, white, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs 220 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. Karamousianis was last seen wearing a gray zip-up fleece jacket, a white T-shirt and jeans, and he was wearing a gold cross necklace. Karamousianis is incarcerated for being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon and was due to be released in December.

Brouillard is 63, white, about 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighs 200 pounds. He has light brown graying hair and blue eyes. Brouillard was last seen wearing a gray crew-neck sweatshirt, jeans, and white sneakers.

Brouillard has several tattoos, including a skull with a heart and rose on his right forearm, a Grim Reaper on his right upper arm, and a dragon on his left arm. He is incarcerated for armed robbery, and his maximum custody release date is December 2030.
