Annual Concord Market Days Festival Dates, Headliner Set
This downtown Concord tradition has fun for everyone in late June.

CONCORD, NH — One of Downtown Concord’s most popular events is the Market Days Festival.
The event features vendors, entertainment, and organizations along Main Street for three days in the summer. This year, the event will be held from June 22 to June 24. Festival hours will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
During the event, Main Street is closed. But there are plenty of access points to the festival and parking around the downtown.

Intown Concord, the organizer of the festival, has been releasing little tidbits of information about this year’s event, which is less than two months away.
For 2023, Michael Glabicki, the lead singer and guitarist of Rusted Root and his current band, Uprooted, will be performing as the festival headliner on June 23. The band performs world, rock, and folk music.

The organization received a $5,100 Arts for Community Engagement project grant in April to support all local artists performing at the festival. The event's vendor spaces are sold out, but the organization is still looking for volunteers.
Formerly known as Old Fashioned Bargain Days, when downtown shops sold their excess inventory before the new fall and winter products began to adorn shelves, the event is now in its 49th year. Most of the time, the weather cooperates. Sometimes, it doesn't. A decade ago, there was a vicious thunderstorm, suspected to be a microburst but declared not to be one later, that blew through the city, causing a huge mess.
Regardless, it is always a fun time, so mark your calendars.
