Another NH Earthquake Hits the Capital Region

The quake hit around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 1, 2015, according to earthquake trackers.

Another earthquake has hit the capital region, according to EarthquakeTrack.com.

A 2.2 quake hit in Epsom at 10:34 p.m. on Aug. 1, 2015.

The quake hit near Whittier Road and Griffin Road off Route 107 just southeast of Pleasant Lake, according to seismologists.

This is the fourth earthquake to hit New Hampshire this year. A 2.3 quake hit Boscawen back in May. A month before that, a 2.1 magnitude earthquake hit Warner. A day before the Warner quake, a 2.3 quake hit Sanborton.

In October 2014, a 2.5 magnitude quake hit Contoocook just a few miles south of this morning’s rumbling. A year before that, a 1.7 quake hit East Side Drive in Concord.
