UPDATE: ‘Armed and Dangerous’ Fugitive Caught: Report

Police have captured Jason Cuocolo of Meredith and Rockland, MA, who was wanted after an alleged robbery incident with a firearm.

UPDATE, 2:51 p.m. on Oct. 14, 2016: WMUR-TV is reporting that Jason Cuocolo has been captured by police in Meredith. Patch will update when more information becomes available.

CONCORD, NH — The Belmont Police Department and New Hampshire State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man allegedly involved in an armed robbery shooting in Belmont this afternoon, according to an alert. Investigators are looking for Jason M. Cuocolo, 42, with last known addresses of Meredith and Rockland, MA, who is wanted for first-degree assault, armed robbery with a firearm, and criminal threatening with a firearm.

Police allege that Cuocolo shot a woman on Arlene Drive in Belmont at around 1 p.m. on Oct. 11, 2016, and then fled the scene. A vehicle was later recovered, according to police. The victim – a 33-year-old woman – is in critical condition at an area hospital.
