CONCORD, NH — A local woman is facing numerous charges after a witness to a reported assault in the West End called 911 last month. At just after 2 p.m. on July 3, a Concord police officer and Merrimack County deputy sheriff were called to Orchard Street for a report of a woman choking and slapping a man. When they arrived, the first officer spoke with a witness who stated that she saw a woman, later identified as Priti Boesch-Dining, 21, of Pine Street, with "her hands around a male's neck and that the female had slapped him in the face," according to an affidavit.

The officer took a description of the man and the woman, while another officer, who filed the affidavit, caught up a woman matching the description, not far from the witness' home. The man was not far from the scene either, the report noted.

"I spoke with (the victim) who stated that an argument between he and Priti, had resulted from Priti becoming upset over him calling another girl cute," the reporting officer stated. "I asked (the victim) where the red marks on his neck had come from and he stated that Priti had grabbed him around the neck and scratched him with her nails."

The officer noted red streaks on the side and front of the man's neck as well as his shirt being stretched out. The victim denied being strangled or choked.

The reporting officer spoke with Boesch-Dining "who denied ever touching" the victim and "claimed the red marks had occurred during" relations.

The reporting officer followed up with the witness by phone who stated she was leaving her home for a doctor's appointment and heard the couple arguing outside. She then accused the woman of grabbing the man around the neck and slapping him. The witness stated the man never put his hands on the woman.

Boesch-Dining was told she was being arrested and while attempting to cuff her, she "tensed up her arms and became hysterical, screaming, and stomping her feet," the officer stated, alleging that she was "uncooperative" and "started to try and pull her arms out of my grasp," and that of a sergeant who was assisting. Boesch-Dining was warned to stop, according to the affidavit, but was accused of then spinning around and kicking the sergeant in the shin.

Boesch-Dining was brought under control and taken straight to the Merrimack County House of Corrections where she was held without bail. She was charged with two counts of domestic violence-simple assault, three counts of simple assault, and resisting arrest or detention.

Boesch-Dining, according to Fosters.com, was charged with unlawful intoxication in February by the University of New Hampshire Police Department.
