Blustery Weather, Power Outages Expected This Week: Get Out, NH

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are expected in New Hampshire through Tuesday. Plus: Exercise, book talks, lectures, crafts, photography, and more.

CONCORD, NH — The warmer than normal temperatures for early March will continue during the early part of the week this week but expect some windy conditions during the next 48 hours or so.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for New Hampshire warning of wind gusts up to 50 mph through Tuesday.

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects,” the alert stated. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”

The advisory covers most of the state.

Temperatures will be in the upper 30s on Monday with lows in the 20s during the overnight hours.

On Tuesday, temps will be in the upper 40s and mid-20s during the overnight hours.

Temperatures could be in the mid-50s by Wednesday and upper 50s by Thursday.

Rain returns for the weekend, according to forecasters.
