Boscawen Teen Can’t Stop Allegedly Stealing Booze
Two incidents during the last six weeks land Alyssa Roy in jail again.

A local teen was arrested in late March and mid-April on charges that she stole items from stores on Storrs Street in Concord.
Alyssa Joyce Roy, 18, of Boscawen, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. on April 17, and charged with willful concealment, unlawful possession of alcohol, and default or breach of bail conditions. On March 27, she was charged with theft by unauthorized taking, unlawful possession of alcohol, and default or breach of bail conditions.
On April 17, an officer was called to the Market Basket on Storrs Street for a report of a person shoplifting.

According to store manager, Roy was in the alcohol aisle at the store and allegedly placed a four-pack of Seagram’s Strawberry Daiquiri bottles into an oversized bag. The manager stopped Roy and requested that she return the alcohol and she reportedly did.
Roy allegedly told the officer that she had been at a tanning salon earlier with a friend who reportedly dared her to go into the store and steal some alcohol. Roy then admitted to taking the four-pack of daiquiris.

Roy allegedly admitted to being out on bail on another theft charge but she had not yet been arraigned. The previous bail conditions stated that she needed to not commit a crime in the future while out on bail, so the breach of bail charge was added to the willful concealment and unlawful possession of alcohol charges.
“Roy was very cooperative,” the officer noted.
Cash bail was set at $5,000, and Roy was held and arraigned remotely from Merrimack County Jail on April 18.
The previous arrest, on March 27, related to an alleged incident earlier in the month at the New Hampshire Liquor Store on Storrs Street.
Police allege that on March 2, Roy stole a fifth of Jagermeister, a liter of Captain Morgan rum, and a bottle of Goldschlager. She turned herself into police, was released on personal recognizance bail, and was due in court on April 29.
Previously, Roy was arrested at the Steeplegate Mall back in February on disorderly conduct and criminal trespass charges.
