Concord Fire And Rescue Teams Extinguish Homeless Camp Fire Along Railroad Tracks: Video (patch.com) — Concord firefighters quickly knocked down a large blaze at a homeless camp along the railroad tracks between Storrs and Gulf streets, after smoke and flames were seen from more than a mile away. Police and state troopers assisted at the scene near Interstate 93, and people at the camp confirmed the tent's occupant was not inside when it burned.

The spotted lanternfly is finally in NH, unfortunately (inklink.news) — Concord readers are being warned that the invasive spotted lanternfly has now been confirmed in New Hampshire, with the first field detection in Salem and expectations it will eventually spread. While it doesn't harm people or buildings, it threatens vineyards and plants, and residents are urged to report sightings and remove its favored tree-of-heaven host to slow its impact.
