
BOW, NH — The Bow Police Association will host The Bow Police Association’s 5K Turkey Trot, at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at Bow High School, 55 Falcon Way in Bow, according to a press release. The ninth annual event brings athletes of all abilities, friends, supporters and families together to support the Bow Police Association. Participants are encouraged to register in advance to receive a Long Sleeve Wicking Race shirt.
Pre-registration is available until Nov. 20, 2017. Shirt and Bib pick up is between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Nov. 22, at the Bow Safety Center, 7 Knox Road in Bow. Race day check in begins at 7 a.m. on Nov. 23.
This years’ race is dedicated in the memory of retired Bow Police K9 Osci, a German Shepard from Budapest, Hungary. Osci served the town of Bow Police Department from 2003 until his retirement in 2015. Osci’s end of watch was on June 16, 2017.
