Chichester Man Arrested On Aggravated DUI Charge On I-393

CONCORD, NH — A capital region man was arrested Friday on drunken driving charges after being accused of speeding and driving erractically on Interstate 393 in Concord.

At just after midnight, a state trooper on patrol in Concord reported seeing "a vehicle operating hazardously and traveling at a high rate of speed," according to Sgt. Vincent Grieco of the Troop D. The trooper reported clocking the driver of the vehicle of reaching 91 mph in a 55 zone.

The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Seth O'Donnell, 49, of Chichester, and "observed signs of impairment and conducted a roadside investigation," Grieco said.

"The investigation revealed that the operator was driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs," Grieco said. "The operator was subsequently arrested and transported to NHSP Troop D for processing where he refused to cooperate with any testing process."

O'Donnell was released on bail after being charged with aggravated DUI, speeding, and uninspected vehicle, and will be arraigned in Concord District Court at a later date.
