Concord Police Log: Man Arrested for Second-Degree Assault
Plus, Laconia man arrested for littering and a homeless man allegedly refuses to pay his bar tab when the bartender refuses his EBT cards.

Mario Coppola, 45, pictured, of Airport Road in Concord, was arrested at 11:20 a.m. on July 27, 2015, for second-degree assault, a felony, and reckless conduct; place another in danger. The charges stem from an incident on May 23, 2015, at the Friends Program on Thompson Street. According to a report, an officer saw a man riding his bike on the sidewalk of North Main Street and then turn onto Pleasant Street. The man, Coppola, was stopped and a check found the warrant. He was arrested and was arraigned on Aug. 31.

Erin R. Mulkerron, 27, of Fisherville Road in Concord, was arrested at 6:53 a.m. on Aug. 25, for simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault. Officers were sent to an apartment for a report of a couple screaming at each other and slapping noises. After they arrived, they heard screaming from inside the apartment with a woman yelling, “Get out!” The officers continued to hear the screaming, which seemed to escalate, according to the report, so they entered the apartment and separated the couple. Mulkerron, who was reportedly “hysterical” and crying, stated the pair was going through stressful times. An officer spoke to the man who stated he had left the apartment but came back to pick up something. He alleged that arguing became worse after that and Mulkerron allegedly slapped him. He said he got close to her and grabbed her, trying to get her to calm down. After some back and forth with Mulkerron, she was determined by the reporting officer to be “the primary aggressor” and was arrested. She’s due in court on Oct. 5.

Audra G. Spaulding, 20, of Foster Hill in Landaff, received a summons at 4:39 p.m. on Aug. 24, for theft. Officers were sent to Walmart on Loudon Road for a shoplifter in custody. An employee stated that while touring the sales floor, he allegedly saw Spaulding “in the aisle messing around with items next to her purse.” He decided to keep and eye on her and alleged that she was concealing items – about $52 worth of makeup. She’s due in court on Sept. 28.
Kaitlyn Rollins, 21, of Ray Road in Henniker, was arrested at 7:16 p.m. on Aug. 22, on a bench warrant. Officers were sent to the McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street for a report of drugs being used inside a vehicle. Rollins and two other people were in the vehicle. All three reportedly denied doing drugs and said they were just drinking water. The officer requested a search of the vehicle but the driver rejected the request. A check yielded an active warrant for one of the passengers, Rollins, and she was arrested. She was released on $475 cash bail and is due in court on Sept. 4.

Daryl G. Gurley, 21, of Railroad Avenue in Derry, was arrested at 3:37 a.m. on July 29, for felony theft by deception and criminal liability for conduct of another from an incident at Walmart on Loudon Road on March 29, 2015. Gurley was arrested by Derry Police on Salem and Concord warrants. He’s due in court on Sept. 14.
Phillip Brooks, 32, of Manchester Street in Concord, was arrested at 8:53 a.m. on July 27, for simple assault, criminal threatening, and criminal assault, from an incident on Manchester Street on July 6, 2015. He was arrested by a state trooper.
Kristen Ellis, 31, of Colby Lane in Bow, was arrested at 4:04 a.m. on July 24, on a bench warrant out of Hampton District Court for nonappearance in court on a driving while intoxicated charge, $500 cash bail. She was being held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections at the time she was charged.
Mary C. Morris, 39, of Homestead Avenue in West Swanzey, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. on July 22, for driving after revocation or suspension, disobeying a traffic control device, and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription after a traffic stop on Loudon Road for a no left turn violation. A check of her license yielded suspensions out of Missouri and New Hampshire and she was arrested. During a search, police allegedly found a Trazodone pill in her purse.
Thomas M. Geary, 68, of Chapel Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:33 a.m. on Aug. 21, on a bench warrant and possession of alcohol beverages-public property. He was also arrested at 2:15 p.m. on July 22, for consumption of liquor on private property. In the July incident, an officer was called to the Mobil on South Main Street for a report of a man drinking in the parking lot. The officer allegedly found Geary with an open can of Natty Daddy beer. Since he had been arrested the week before, he was arrested again. While on foot patrol in August, an officer reportedly saw Geary and ran a check on him and found an active warrant for nonappearance in court for an ordinance violation. While being taken into custody, the officer allegedly saw an open can of Natty Daddy and added that charge to the arrest.
Seth A. O’Donnell, 44, of Matthew Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on July 22, on two counts of simple assault and two counts of domestic violence-simple assault. An officer was called to Convenient MD on Loudon Road for a report of a woman who was physically abused. The officer spoke to a physician’s assistant, the victim, and a relative of the victim. The victim alleged that O’Donnell threw water on her while she was in bed and called her lazy and a derogatory word. She got up and closed her door but O’Donnell allegedly “pushed the door open, with her still behind it, and engaged in a pushing match with the door,” according to the report. He then allegedly reached in and slapped her a couple of times in the face and pushed her back in the room. O’Donnell allegedly punched her in the face and then left. The officer spoke to the relative and then O’Donnell and after some back and forth about the case, the officer informed him that he would be arrested for assault for throwing the water on the woman. He reportedly told the officer that he would be calling his lawyer and the officer told him a 12-hour stop and hold would be put on him if he didn’t turn himself in. O’Donnell was arrested later.
Ryan M. Smith, 25, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. on July 22, for theft of services. Officers were sent to Beijing & Tokyo for a report of a customer refusing to pay his tab. They spoke with the bartender who alleged that Smith consumed three drinks and then handed her an EBT card, which the restaurant doesn’t accept. Smith then allegedly became “verbally aggressive” and tried to leave without paying the $17.50 bar tab. Smith, the officer alleged, was “highly intoxicated and unsteady on his feet,” and when asked what happened, didn’t say anything. Smith then allegedly stated that he already paid the tab but didn’t have the receipt. “Ryan stated that if they were not going to accept his EBT card then that was their own fault,” the officer alleged, and he was arrested and refused bail.
Miles A. Anderson, 26, of Endicott in Laconia, was arrested at 10:12 a.m. on Aug. 20, for littering-unlawful activities from an incident on North State Street on June 5, 2015. An officer arrested Anderson at the New Hampshire State Hospital. He’s due in court on Sept. 21.
Dustin P. Averill, 21, of Fisherville Road in Concord, was arrested at 10:57 a.m. on July 20, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court for simple assault, $144, cash to settle, and for receiving stolen property. The stolen property incident was from EZ Computer on South Main Street on April 2, 2015. Officers were sent to an apartment on Fisherville Road for a warrant service. When they arrived, they heard a male voice inside the apartment but no one would answer the door. A relative eventually answered the door and reportedly told officers he wasn’t in the apartment. The officers told her they heard him inside and then realized that he had jumped off the second floor balcony. They headed outside and allegedly found him limping in the parking lot with injuries to his right foot and ankle. Averill reportedly denied jumping off the balcony and stated that he fell down drunk the day before, according to the report. An officer transported him to the hospital for treatment and then formerly arrested him.
