WEBSTER, NH — A child, who was a passenger in a car, lost her life after a crash in Webster on Thursday.

Around 4 p.m., police and fire and rescue teams were sent to Dustin Road for a report of a head-on crash. Two people were taken to Concord Hospital for treatment and Webster police requested the New Hampshire State Police to assist with the case, due to the severity of the accident and the death of a girl who was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

According to Staff Sgt. Steven Wheeler of Troop D, the department’s collision analysis reconstruction unit determined that Janice Bergeron, 77, of Contoocook, was driving west when her 2019 Kia Forte “veered into oncoming traffic” and struck at 2015 Ford F-150. Cameron Tillman, 21, of Penacook was driving the pickup truck.
