Chilly Temps, Wind Gusts Expected This Week In New Hampshire

National Weather Service forecasters are warning of warm Veterans Day but blustery and chilly temperatures the rest of the week.

CONCORD, NH — Forecasters are warning of more dry, breezy, and cold weather conditions this week.

For Veterans Day, the National Weather Service is calling for cloudy skies with balmy temperatures in the lower- to mid-60s in Concord and the capital region. It will be, however, a tad windy — between 5 and 15 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph. There is a 30 percent chance of showers in Nashua, the southern part of New Hampshire, and the Seacoast. There is a slight chance of showers during the evening, with overnight lows in the 40s.

On Tuesday, expect sunny skies with highs in the upper 40s across the state. The wind is expected to pick up — about 15 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph in Concord and 30 mph in Nashua. Overnight lows will drop down into the 20s.

More sun is expected on Wednesday, with highs in the mid-40s. Overnight lows will again be in the lower 20s. Similar weather is expected on Thursday and Friday and into the weekend, which may be a tad warmer.
