Officers arrived and spoke with the man who was outside of the home and he alleged that the woman was chasing him around the house, threatening to kill him. After trying to leave the home, she allegedly choked him and bit him on the neck.
Other officers arrived and spoke with Torregrossa who had glossy red bloodshot eyes and was allegedly “acting very erratic.” She allegedly admitted that she had been drinking vodka and was intoxicated. The officer noted a red mark on her neck and asked if she was injured or wanted assistance and she reportedly stated that she didn’t.

When asked to explain what happened that evening, Torregrossa allegedly told the officer that she knew what was going to happen and he should just arrest her. The officer attempted to discuss the incident “several times,” and she reportedly stated later that the fight was over the computer, specifically, that the victim’s father “would not stick up for me.”
When asked about the knife, she allegedly stated, “What knife?” When asked again about it, she reportedly stated a second time that there was no knife and then requested to be taken to jail because “she did not feel safe” around the victim. Torregrossa allegedly then claimed that the victim choked her.
The officer went back to speak with the victim who stated that he was resting when he reportedly heard Torregrossa screaming. He went upstairs to find out what was going on and she reportedly began complaining about the computer, asked him to fix it, and then punched it, according to the report. Torregrossa allegedly became angry and began choking him. He was able to free himself and went back downstairs. She allegedly followed him, jumped on his back, bit his neck, and took him to the ground, he alleged.
The victim pushed Torregrossa off and she allegedly went into the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and came at him as he ran outside and called police, according to the affidavit.
The reporting officer examined the victim and noted a bite mark on the back of his neck near his hairline, scratch marks, and red lines on his neck, too, according to the affidavit.
The officer went back into the home to speak to Torregrossa again and she allegedly refused to speak about the incident further and requested to be arrested.
Torregrossa was arrested and refused bail. She was arraigned on Dec. 27.
