Concord, Capital Region Schools Closed for Tuesday
Area schools are beginning to issue cancellation alerts in the wake of tonight's expected blizzard.

As expected, a number of school districts in Concord and around the capital region have begun cancelling classes for Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to an expected blizzard that could dump as much as two feet of snow on the capital city.
In Concord, the Concord School District, Bow School District, and Parker Academy have issued notices that they will be closed. The New Hampshire Technical Institute has also cancelled classes for Tuesday.
Update, 2:27 p.m. Bishop Brady High School, Concord Christian Academy, Contoocook School, The Derryfield School, Dunbarton Elementary School, Hooksett, Kearsarge Regional School District, Kimball Jenkins School of Art, Merrimack Valley School District, New England College, Northwood School District, and SNHU, are all closed on Tuesday.

Update, 5:19 p.m. All city offices in Concord will be closed including the public library. Area school districts that have announced closings include Allenstown, Barnstead, Belmont, Chichester, Goffstown, Franklin, Hopkinton, St. John Regional School, and The Children’s Place.
