Concord Gardens Suspicious Deaths Appears To Be A Murder-Suicide
After autopsies, NH AG's Office suspects Pal Darjee, 81, repeatedly stabbed his wife, Lila Darjee, and then, took his own life.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office believes that the case of two suspicious deaths found last week in the Concord Gardens apartment complex is a murder-suicide case. Officials released the results of autopsies on both Pal Darjee, 81, and his wife, Lila Darjee, 47, who were found dead during the early morning hours Friday. Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie Duval has determined that Lila Darjee’s cause of death was "multiple sharp and blunt penetrating injuries of the head, neck, and torso," with the manner of death being a homicide.
The cause of Pal Darjee’s death was a single stab wound to the heart, and the manner of death a suicide, according to a report.

"Although the investigation into the circumstances surround these two deaths remain active and ongoing, at this point in the investigation it appears that Pal Darjee killed Lila Darjee, and then he killed himself," said Kate Spiner, the public information officer for the NH AG's Office.
Their deaths were reported at around 4:10 a.m. on July 19, 2019, after fire and rescue teams and police were sent to a report of two bodies found inside an apartment of Building 19 of the complex located on the Concord Heights. The bodies were found by a family member.
