Couple Found Deceased In Concord Heights Apartment Identified

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and Concord police released the names of a couple found dead in their apartment on the Concord Heights on Friday morning. The residents – Pal Darjee, 82, and Lila Darjee, 47 – were found deceased inside their apartment in Building 19 of the Concord Gardens apartment complex. Kate Spiner, the public information officer for the NH AG's Office, said they were found by a family member.

The family member, a woman, called 911 at just after 4 a.m. on Friday reporting that she had found the couple unconscious and bleeding, with a knife by one of the bodies. Concord police were at the apartment, just off Ormond Street, for most of the day on Friday.

"At this time, this matter appears to be a contained incident and all individuals involved have been identified," Spiner said. "Further, there does not appear to be any threat to the public. Additional information will be released following the completion of both autopsies."
