Several officers made their way to the scene as well as created a perimeter and secured the area so fire and rescue teams could arrive to assist the victim.
The first arriving officers said there were four people inside the manufactured home at the time of the shooting. One officer put pressure on the victim's wound, in an effort to stop the bleeding, according to scanner chatter. Fire dispatch said the victim was in and out of consciousness.
Officers began searching the area for the suspect, including driving both north and south of the park, and also requested a K-9 unit, something dispatch was already working to get. Officers checked apartment complexes and other areas but were unable to find the suspect.
EMTs arrived and took the man to Concord Hospital around 2:15 a.m.
New Hampshire State Police also arrived to assist.

Police reported later they believed the gun was a .38 caliber handgun.
Officers spent a number of hours searching the area, checking buildings, and meeting with building managers connected to several apartment buildings in the area searching for the suspect. They also were given video from at least one security camera in the area. A woman was also brought to headquarters for questioning.
Concord police issued a statement later stating the involved parties were known to each other and there was no immediate threat to the general public. The investigation is ongoing, the statement said.
