Concord Police Log: Intoxicated Man Tased at Rundlett
Plus, felony theft charges and a Pembroke man was arrested on drug, disorderly charges.
George Nicholas Georgopoulos, 31, of Middlebury Street in Concord, was arrested at 3:06 a.m. on Aug. 31, on disorderly conduct and resisting arrest or detention charges. Officers were sent to the Abbot-Downing Elementary School for a report of a man on the ground in the middle of South Street. The man, Georgopoulos, was picked up and was allegedly “swaying side to side and was agitated and verbally aggressive.” Georgopoulos reportedly stated that he was walking home and did nothing wrong. Officers tried to explain to him that he needed a sober party to take him home and he allegedly began running from the scene, up the Rundlett Middle School driveway. The officers told him to stop and caught up with him. “Georgopoulos curled into ball and continued to shout obscenities at us,” the reporting officer alleged. He allegedly wouldn’t allow himself to be taken into custody so the officers Tased him and cuffed him. Police allege that he blew a 0.111 on the Breathalyzer.
Michael A. Davis, 46, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:23 p.m. on Aug. 31, on a simple assault charge. An officer was sent to an apartment building on 85 Manchester Street for a report of yelling and a dog barking. A man walked toward a building and then, fled the area. The noise died down as well. The man guided the officer to the apartment with the noise and the officer heard a woman crying and a man swearing. The parties were separated and the woman stated that she fell in the shower and thought she broke her hip and went into the bedroom. She alleged that Davis later “put his hands on her shoulder and pushed her back” and after trying to get up, “started punching her.” Davis spoke to another officer and reportedly stated that he lost his balanced and fallen toward the woman and never touched her. “Davis told me that (the victim) would not press charges against him,” she wrote. “When I explained that she didn’t have a choice, he told me that she wouldn’t show up for court and that is what she has done in the past. He stated, ‘No victim, no crime.’” Davis was then arrested.
Chad J. Nelson, 42, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 31, on a disorderly conduct charge, and 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 2, for default or breach of bail conditions. On the first arrest, officers were sent to the yellow pod at Concord Hospital for a report that Nelson was allegedly not cooperating during an evaluation and threatening to harm staff members. Allenstown Police had dropped him off after he reportedly threatened to kill a pharmacist in that town. Nelson was allegedly acting belligerent, making demands, and rudely yelling at staffers, and using vulgar language. After a number of warnings, he was arrested and taken to the Merrimack County House of Corrections. For the second arrest, an officer was sent to St. John Church on South Main Street for a report of an intoxicated man trying to ride a bike and falling into traffic. The man, Nelson, was on his back on the sidewalk when the officer arrived. The officer tried speaking to him repeatedly by Nelson reportedly wouldn’t respond. Later, Nelson allegedly began slurring his words and “did not make sense.” Eventually, the officer realized he said that he was coming from Montana. The officer patted him down and allegedly found a large pocketknife, a hollowed out pen body with white residue, a pipe with spice, and a pill bottle. Nelson kept saying that he thought he was in Montana and allegedly smelled like alcohol. He was arrested on a breach of bail charge and held.

Jermaine Perry Jones, 24, of Concord, was arrested at 3:13 p.m. on Sept. 1, on a conduct after an accident charge from Aug. 4, at the 7-Eleven on Loudon Road. While parked at the Sunshine Oriental Restaurant, an officer saw Jones and knew he had an active warrant. The officer stopped the car Jones was driving at Airport Road and he was arrested. He’s due in court on Oct. 20.
Alicia L. Bresnahan, 33, of Old Suncook Road in Concord, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. on Sept. 1, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge after a stop at South Fruit and Clinton streets. Bresnahan’s vehicle had a cracked windshield and she was stopped. Her license was suspended on June 25, and she was arrested. She had a previous operating after suspension conviction in June 2011. She’s due in court on Oct. 20.

Michael Burke, 44, of School Street in Concord, was arrested at 6:43 p.m. on Sept. 1, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge after a stop at Thorndike and South streets. Burke’s license was suspended in October 2012. He was convicted of operating after suspension on July 28.
Riley LaClair, 17, of Drew Street in Concord, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. on Sept. 1, on possession of controlled drugs and default or breach of bail conditions. An officer saw a bicyclist, later identified as LaClair, nearly hit by a motor vehicle at Loudon Road while riding through a red light. LaClair reportedly told the officer that he was trying to hurry home, wasn’t paying attention, and apologized. The officer asked him if he had anything on him and LaClair allegedly admitted to have “some weed” and a pipe. He was arrested. Since LaClair was arrested on Aug. 26, a breach charge was added.
Sean Matthew Emery, 21, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. on Sept. 1, on a criminal trespass charge. Officers were called to Concord Gardens for a report of a man urinating in front of the caller and two individuals sitting in a car. Police investigated the matter and found out that the men, Emery and Garrett Rogenski, were not allowed to be in the car, and they were arrested.
Frank R. Case, 22, of Pembroke Street in Pembroke, was arrested at 4 a.m. on Sept. 2, on possession of controlled drugs and disorderly conduct. Officers were sent to Hall Street for a report of two men running in and out of traffic. After they arrived, the officers questioned the men and Case reportedly told them that he was trying to keep his friend from leaving and later, they started fighting in the middle of the street. He was cut on his arm, according to the report. A witness reported that while he was driving to work, the men ran out and he had to swerve to avoid them. Case was arrested for disorderly and during a pat down, an officer allegedly found a glass smoking device with burnt marijuana. He’s due in court on Oct. 20.
Cynthia D. Saxon Hoffman, 50, of Rumford Street, was arrested at 10:06 a.m. on Sept. 2, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge from Aug. 12. She was held on $1,000 cash bail.
Nathan Calley, 17, of Curtice Avenue in Concord, was arrested at 3 p.m. on Sept. 2, on a resisting arrest or detention charge from July 23, on Old Suncook Road. Calley was arrested at Concord High School. He’s due in court on Oct. 20.
Melissa Edmondson, 25, of Route 106 in Loudon, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 2, on two bench warrants from June 24, on a nonappearance in Manchester District Court on a theft by deception charge, $1,000 cash bail to settle, and June 27, for nonappearance in Merrimack District Court on a driving after a suspension or revocation charge.
Colette T. Guimond, 62, of Fairfield Drive in Concord, received a summons at 4:40 p.m. on Sept. 2, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge at Shaw’s Supermarket for allegedly shoplifting $27.21 worth of grocery items.
Mawouko Adade Aboussa, 25, of Jennings Drive in Concord, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. on Sept. 2, on simple assault and disorderly conduct charges from the Beijing & Tokyo Restaurant on South Main Street on July 2. He’s due in court on Oct. 20.
Alexander Papastefanou, 30, of Maple Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:47 p.m. on Sept. 2, on a felony warrant from the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a burglary charge.
