Police allege that the subject handed a note to a teller demanding cash. After obtaining the money, he fled the scene and was last seen running in a westerly direction from the bank. Police were seen scouring the area looking for the man and received assistance from the New Hampshire State Police, Merrimack County Sheriffs, the DMV, and Bradford Police, too.

However, O’Malley credits a local postal worker who was near the scene of the robbery and helped detectives solve the crime so quickly.

“The employee was performing his daily routine when he crossed paths with the suspect and recognized that something seemed amiss,” O’Malley said. “He made key observations about the suspect’s vehicle which he later communicated to detectives, leading to the positive identification of the suspect.”

O’Malley added, “On behalf of the citizens of Concord, we offer our sincere thanks to this individual.”

Lojko was booked and refused bail. He’ll be arraigned this morning in Concord District Court. According to online reports, he has an extensive criminal history in Massachusetts including warrant arrests in Salem and Lynn.
