Concord’s Black Ice Pond Hockey Tournament Postponed
The 2018 festival at White Park has been pushed back due to weather.

CONCORD, NH — Just like 2017, the Black Ice Pond Hockey Association is delaying the start of its annual event until early February, due to warmer temperatures that has melted the White Park Pond ice, as well as expected rain this week, according to alerts online. Originally scheduled to begin tomorrow, the festivities will instead start on Feb. 9, and run through Feb. 11.
The schedule of events has not been updated online but attendees can expect a heated spectator tent with games and activities, food trucks, music, and more to begin on Friday. Fireworks were slated to occur on Friday night but this – and other activities – could change.
