Corrections Department Reports Another Walkaway

Officials: Christy Blondeau, who is on work release at Shea Farm in Concord, reportedly did not return from an evening outing last night.

In less than 24 hours, the New Hampshire Department of Corrections is dealing with its second walkaway from transitional housing in Concord, according to an alert.

According to Jeffrey Lyons, the public information officer for the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, Christy Blondeau, 32, of Manchester, was given permission to leave the Shea Farm Transitional Housing Unit in Concord last night at around 7 p.m. on May 22, 2015, for a two hour outing but did not return. She was placed on walkaway status at around midnight last night.

Blondeau is as 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weight about 170 lbs., and has brown eyes and brown hair. She has a tattoo on her right ankle. Blondeau is serving a sentence for forgery out of Rockingham County Superior Court.

According to Lyons, she received a 1.5 to three year sentence with 96 days of time served credited to her sentence. Blondeau was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison for Women in Goffstown on February 2014 and was eligible for parole earlier this month but had not obtained parole yet. She will complete her sentence in November 2016.
