Crash Off I-93 Leads To Second DWI Charge

HOOKSETT, NH — A New Hampshire man was arrested during the weekend after an alleged drunk driving crash, according to police. Richard Prindiville, 56, of Auburn, was arrested on April 8, 2018, for driving while intoxicated-subsequent. At just after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers from Hooksett were called to a two-vehicle accident at Hacket Hill Road and the I-93 Exit 11, according to Sgt. Scrapino of the Hooksett Police Department.

When they arrived, investigators learned that Prindiville, while driving a 2008 Toyota Tundra, allegedly ran a stop sign, after exiting I-93. The vehicle then collided with a 2017 Chrysler, that was traveling west.

“While officers were speaking with Prindiville, they observed signs of impairment,” Scrapino alleged. “Prindiville agreed to field sobriety testing and was placed under arrest at the conclusion of said testing. Prindiville was charged with a subsequent offense DWI.”
During processing, he allegedly refused a breath test and was released on personal recognizance bail. Prindiville is due in court on April 26.

“There were no serious injuries sustained as a result of the collision,” Scrapino stated.
