The officer saw blood on the ground but as he got within 10 feet of the man, he allegedly smelled alcohol, according to the report. The officer also recognized the man to be Taylor, “from previous contacts.”

Taylor was allegedly “very agitated and slurring his words” stating that he didn’t want to go to the hospital although EMTs were on their way to the scene.

“I know my body and I’m fine … I just want to go home,” he allegedly stated.

However, he later agreed to let Concord Fire and Rescue teams transport him to the hospital, according to the report.

A witness alleged that Taylor was impaired and she could smell the alcohol coming from him. A second witness alleged that he was “knocked out for about two minutes” after crashing his dirt bike in the Tire Warehouse parking lot, according to the report.

The officer then went to the trauma room at the hospital, spoke with Taylor, and after speaking to him, he was arrested. Taylor is due in court on June 13.

According to a post on Patch, Taylor was arrested in late April on a driving while intoxicated charge after being stopped at the intersection of Centre and North State streets.

In November 2012, he was arrested on numerous charges including criminal threatening, felony counts of possession of narcotic drug with intent to distribute and two counts of sale of controlled drugs, as well as possession of controlled drug and penalties where controlled drug was kept.
