Crashes All Around The Concord Heights
Cops, firefighters were sent to 3 accidents in 2 hours on Loudon Road and Regional Drive on Monday; one person arrested for drunken driving.
CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams as well as police were kept busy with a number of crashes around the city on Monday, all within a couple of hours of each other.
Around 4:30 p.m., police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the area of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Loudon Road for a multi-vehicle accident with personal injury. Dispatch told police they were hearing that there were vehicles in the middle of the road. When police and firefighters arrived, they reported three cars involved in the crash. One person was still in their car, according to fire command.
Later, they realized there were only two cars involved in the accident.

The crash was between a Toyota Prius and a Honda Civic. The Honda driver was taken to the hospital with a minor injury.
After about 30 minutes, firefighters cleared the scene. Two tow trucks were also called to remove the cars. The crash was completely cleared around 5:15 p.m.

At 5:30 p.m., police and fire were sent to Regional Drive and Industrial Park Drive for another accident.
Police dispatch reported no known injuries and the crash involved a pickup truck and another vehicle. When the fire commander arrived, they said the crash appeared to be minor but they were checking for injuries. The crash was between a GMC Sierra and a Subaru Legacy.
The first arriving officer requested backup to assist with a field sobriety test for the driver of the Legacy. According to dispatch, the driver had a prior open container conviction from September. EMTs were also requested due to the man’s hand bleeding, according to scanner chatter.
Another officer, on Loudon Road, while heading to a domestic incident at the Morning Star Condominium complex, came upon a crash near the 7-Eleven, in the middle of the roadway, about 10 minutes later.
Fire and rescue teams were also sent to the crash. Both drivers were out of the vehicles when firefighters arrived with the officer shutting down the eastbound lane to traffic. The accident was between another Subaru Legacy and a Volkswagen Jetta. Two tow trucks were also called to move the vehicles.
Just after 6 p.m., the driver of the Subaru in the second crash on Regional Drive and Industrial Park Drive was arrested for drunken driving.
All fire companies check patients and then, cleared the scene of the third crash around 6:15 p.m. The tow trucks came later.
