Crimeline Tips Requested After NH GOP HQ Hit With Vandalism

Breaking: Vandalism – including "Heart Nazis" spray paint and a rock through a window – are being investigated by Concord Police.

CONCORD, NH — Police have issued a Concord Regional Crimeline alert after vandalism was discovered at the New Hampshire Republican State Committee building on Water Street. Officers were sent to the building at just after 9 a.m. this morning after employees found the vandalism, according to Lt. Sean Ford, the commander of the Criminal Investigations Division of the Concord Police Department. It is believed that the damage occurred between 6 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2017, and the time of discovery, he noted.

“The responding officer spoke with staff who arrived for work in the morning and discovered that a rock had been thrown from the outside through a window on the west side of the building,” Ford said. “On the same exterior wall, there was spray-painted graffiti. The spray-painted word 'Nazis' was enclosed within a spray-painted heart shape."
