About Gilmanton Winery & Vineyard
We're a small-ish winery that is still owned by the 2 people who started it back in 2011, Marshall and Sunny Bishop. We grow 800+ grapevines on our property of 9 acres and we actually live here as well. The house/winery/restaurant was built back in the 1750's and was once owned by Grace Metalious who wrote several books, most notably, Peyton Place. We do wine tastings here, as well as brunch on Sunday mornings, a once-a month 5-Course dinner prepared by local chef Sarah Baldwin-Welcome and during the summer we serve lunches as well.
