Driver OK After Backing Into Gas Station Sign In Bow

Police and EMTs were sent to the Irving gas station on Route 3A for a crash after an elderly driver was accused of backing up into a sign.

BOW, NH — Police and EMTs were sent to a gas station in Bow after a crash report on Wednesday.

Around 3:15 p.m., capital region fire dispatch began receiving reports about a driver crashing into a sign at the Irving station on Route 3A. When police and firefighters arrived, they found an elderly woman who was driving and had mistakenly backed into the Irving sign.

Fire command said the vehicle was up on the median, and the sign appeared to not have been damaged, according to scanner chatter.

EMTs cleared the patient and cleared the scene while the police investigated.
