CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams and police were sent to an accident on Wednesday after a driver crashed into the entrance area of a medical building.
Around 10:15 a.m., first responders were sent to the north building of Concord Orthopedics on Pleasant Street after an elderly woman drove a Chevrolet Equinox SUV into the side of the building. Dispatch reported there were multiple people leaving the building at the time of the accident but there were no injuries.
Fire command reported, upon arrival, the driver was still inside the vehicle and there was some damage to the entryway. The driver was evaluated and assisted by staffers into a wheelchair. The structural damage was minor and not enough to compromise the building, command told dispatch.
