Drug Felon Arrested With 14-Inch Fixed Blade Knife: Cops
Adam Dube of Hooksett was arrested yesterday after a traffic stop for speeding.

HOOKSETT, NH — A local man with a past felony drug conviction is in more trouble after allegedly being in possession of a deadly weapon during a traffic stop, according to police. Adam Dube, 30, of Hooksett, was arrested on Jan. 31, 2018, on the felon in possession of a deadly weapon charge after he was stopped on Whitehall Road for reportedly speeding. While speaking with Dube during the stop, the officer allegedly saw “a large bladed weapon” in the rear seat of the vehicle.

“It was discovered to be 14-inch fixed blade knife,” Hooksett Police Department Sgt. Joseph Ducharme alleged in a press statement. “Officers learned that in 2017, Dube was convicted of a Class B Felony for possession of controlled drug out of Merrimack County Superior Court and was to refrain from possessing any firearms or deadly weapons.”

Dube was arrested, processed, and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail but placed on a 72-hour probation-parole hold and transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections. He’s due in Merrimack County Superior Court on Feb. 15.
