State police are asking for help finding Scott Gagne after he reportedly didn't return to a transitional housing unit in Concord last night.

CONCORD, NH — A minimum-security prison inmate reportedly failed to return to his transitional housing unit in Concord last night. The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is searching for Scott Gagne, 29, a convicted felon who is serving a sentence for willful concealment and controlled drug acts prohibited. He is 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weighs around 160 lbs., and has brown hair and eyes.
Gagne was scheduled to return to the New Hampshire State Prison’s North End Transitional Housing Unit at 8 p.m. on May 7, 2019. At 9:10 p.m. last night, he was placed on escape status.
Gagne would have been eligible for parole in December, according to Laura Montenegro of the NH DOC. He faces up to 3.5 to seven years more years in prison if convicted on an escape charge.
