Forecasters Say Blustery Weather Expected In NH For City Elections

CONCORD, NH — Weather forecasters are warning of a spotty weather week this week, but Election Day might not be as bad as first expected.

On Monday, temperatures will be in the mid-40s with clouds rolling in and a light breeze. Rain is expected during the overnight hours, with highs in the lower 40s.

On Tuesday, there is a 30 percent chance of rain before 8 a.m. in Concord and the capital region as well as Nashua and Hillsborough County; on Portsmouth and the Seacoast, it will be before 9 a.m. The remainder of the day will be cloudy. Highs are expected to be in the lower 60s. However, there will be wind gusts of up to 25 mph throughout the day. Hold onto those signs, campaign workers!

Temps will drop back down into the lower 30s during the evening, with wind gusts remaining high. The sun returns on Wednesday with highs in the mid-40s and lows in the upper 20s. Rain and snow showers are expected on Thursday morning in Concord and on the Seacoast while rain was expected in Nashua.
