Homeless Man Faces Methamphetamine Dealing Charges In Concord
Sean Kevin O'Mara faces 2 felony charges after police accused him of making drug deals in the North End and a hotel parking lot in May 2019.

CONCORD, NH — A transient in the Concord area eluded drug dealing charges by police for many months during the summer and fall but was finally arrested in December on two felony sale of methamphetamine charges. On May 1, a sergeant and a detective met with a cooperating individual who informed them that they could obtain drugs from Sean Kevin O'Mara, 48, according to a court affidavit. The detective requested that the individual reach out to O'Mara to purchase $80 worth of meth.
The detective stated that the individual made contact with O'Mara to arrange the purchase of a gram of the drug.
" O'Mara agreed to meet X at Rite Aid in Concord (on North State Street) where the deal would be conducted," the detective said.

After the arrangements were made, the cooperating individual was searched to ensure they had no money, weapons, or contraband. The individual was provided with an audio recording-monitoring device and $80 worth of "buy funds" that were being tracked by police.
"From there, I, functioning in an undercover capacity, drove X to Rite Aid," the detective wrote.

The individual then received a message from O'Mara requesting that they walk with him alone to "conduct the deal" behind the Rite Aid on Bradley Street. The individual exited the detective's vehicle and met with O'Mara. The detective accused O'Mara of conducting the meth transaction, noting in the affidavit, that it was also witnessed by drug enforcement surveillance units.
Later, the detective weighed the drugs on a digital scale, recorded that they were 1.4 grams, and had it field tested, which came out positive.
Two weeks later, the detective requested the cooperating individual to line up another drug transaction, according to an affidavit. O'Mara was accused of making arrangements with the individual again to meet at Rite Aid. The same process as before was conducted and the individual was given $100 and a monitoring device.
But when they arrived at Rite Aid, the individual reportedly received a message from O'Mara requesting to meet in the parking lot of the Courtyard Marriot on Constitution Avenue.
They drove to the hotel and the detective reported seeing a silver Honda coupe pull into the parking lot. There were "several occupants" in the vehicle. The coupe pulled around the side of the hotel out of sight of the officer and a man and a woman began walking from the area toward The Friendly Kitchen on South Commercial Street. Drug enforcement surveillance officers identified the man as O'Mara, according to the affidavit.
The cooperating individual received a message from O'Mara requesting a meeting on the railroad tracks, the affidavit stated. The individual left the detective's vehicle and O'Mara was accused of selling him the meth again, according to the report.
The meth was 1.3 grams and was field tested positive.
A warrant was issued for O'Mara's arrest on July 17, 2019, and he was arrested on Dec. 18, 2019.
