Hooksett Teen Gets Prison Time After 2015 Shooting
Isaac Velez shot several rounds at a crowd of people in Manchester during a gang incident.

MANCHESTER, NH — A local man has been sentenced in court after numerous charges after a 2015 shooting incident in the Queen City, according to police. Isaac Velez, 19, was sentenced for reckless conduct – two to five years in New Hampshire State Prison, stand committed; solicitation witness tampering – three to six years, stand committed, concurrent, and solicitation to witness tampering – three to six years, all suspended five years from release, consecutive if imposed, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.
In July 2015, Velez shot several rounds at a crowd of people as they stood outside of a Lowell Street address. The incident was an apparent gang incident.
O’Keefe noted that police and the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office “worked tirelessly on the prosecution of Velez” after the shooting.

Velez is no stranger to police, according to reports online.
In October 2015, he was shot outside of Gill Stadium. In July 2016, Velez was arrested along with four others about a year after the shooting incident for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a fight outside of the Fire and Ice Hookah Bar on Elm Street.
