Man Dies, Woman Injured During Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash On Interstate 93 In Bow
New Hampshire State Police are investigating a fatal crash Wednesday; speed is considered a factor; Bow and Concord firefighters assist.

BOW, NH — New Hampshire State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday night in Bow that took the life of a man and injured a woman.
Around 5:45 p.m., state troopers were sent to Interstate 93 south near Mile Marker 32.4 for a crash between an SUV and a sedan. When troopers arrived, they found both vehicles were engulfed in flames on the right side of the road in a wooded area, according to Tyler Dumont, the public information officer for state police.
The driver of the car, a man, perished in the crash. The driver of the SUV, a woman, “suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to an area hospital,” Dumont said.

State police were assisted by Bow and Concord firefighters. Two highway lanes remained closed as of 10 p.m. on Wednesday while the state police’s collision analysis and reconstruction unit and the state’s fire marshal investigated the crash and fire.

“Drivers in the area should anticipate delays and are encouraged to seek an alternative route,” Dumont said.
While all aspects remain under investigation, witnesses reported multiple vehicles traveling at high rates of speed before the crash. Additional witnesses who have not spoken with investigators are asked to contact Trooper Noah Gooch at noah.d.gooch@dos.nh.gov.
