CONCORD, NH — A man was transported to Concord Hospital yesterday afternoon after he jumped from a second-floor apartment window to escape an assault incident. Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to an apartment complex on Fisherville Road at around 5:30 p.m. for a report of a disturbance. When they arrived, they found a man who stated that he had jumped from a second-story apartment window, fleeing from people inside an apartment.

The man was transported to the hospital by firefighters while police attempted to investigate the incident. Lt. Sean Ford, the commander of the criminal investigation division for the Concord Police Department, stated that officers wound up forcing entry into the apartment where they found a juvenile and a man – Jerry Roberts Jr., 35, a sex offender. Roberts had an active warrant on a duty to report charge and a parole violation, and was taken into custody on July 15, 2019.

Ford said the department was limiting the release of details about the case due to the incident being an active investigation. He added that more info may be issued in the near future.
