CONCORD, NH — A spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force said he was "extremely happy to announce" that members had caught a third suspect accused of being involved in the death of a 21-month-old child of fentanyl poisoning in Londonderry in November 2020.

Task force members were searching for Dana Dolan, 24, with a last known address of Tilton, after already arresting Mark Geremia, 32, and Shawna Cote, 29, on homicide, manslaughter, and other charges, in the death of the girl, according to Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal. Court documents accused Dolan of assisting Geremia and Cote in falsifying physical evidence after the death of the girl, the daughter of Geremia and Cote, at the RMZ Truck Stop on Rockingham Road on Nov. 16, 2020. Geremia, Cote, and Dolan were accused of snorting the fentanyl they purchased in Massachusetts and stopping at the truck stop the night before after Geremia was nodding off while attempting to drive home. The next morning, all three were accused of taking more drugs, and later, the girl also ingested the drugs inside the vehicle and died.

The gruesomeness of the case has gripped the state during the past 72 hours which led law enforcement to issue an up-to-$2,500 reward for information that would lead to the arrest of Dolan. White said the reward "greatly increased" the number of tips reported to the taskforce — including many that pointed to locations around the Lakes Region.

A lot of the tips, however, were investigated and ruled out.

Members of the task force spent Saturday working with other agencies to find Dolan.

"The information learned through today's investigation brought the task force to an apartment on Powder Hill Drive in Lancaster," White said. "As members of the US Marshals, NH State Police and the Lancaster Police Department approached the residence, Dolan attempted to flee out the back door and was quickly arrested."

Dolan was taken to Londonderry where he will be processed on negligent homicide, manslaughter-reckless, and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon. He is being held at the Rockingham County Jail will be arraigned at a future date in superior court.

"This is one of those investigations that truly pulls on the heartstrings of everyone, as crimes against children do," US Marshal Nick Willard said. "The US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and countless other agencies worked tirelessly to ensure that all three of these fugitives were arrested so they can be brought to justice."

White said along with task force members, agencies assisting with the case included Belknap, Rockingham, and Strafford county sheriff's offices, the Greenfield, Danbury, Laconia, Lancaster, Littleton, Londonderry, Northfield, and Tilton police departments, and the DEA.

Both Cote and Geremia remain in preventative detention.

Geremia was charged with negligent homicide, manslaughter, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, falsifying physical evidence, conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence, and three counts of possession of child sexual abuse images, all felonies. He was also arrested on receiving stolen property and endangering the welfare of a child charges. Cote was arrested on negligent homicide, manslaughter, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, falsifying physical evidence, and conspiracy to commit falsifying physical evidence, all felonies, as well as receiving stolen property and endangering the welfare of a child charges.

Both Geremia and Cote were also involved in a crash in Canterbury on Interstate 93 earlier this month which led to injuries. The crash, however, was not connected in any way to the death investigation in Londonderry.

According to court documents, Dolan is a felon due to convictions on felony forgery charges out of Tilton from January 2015, a felony burglary charge out of Sanbornton from August 2015, and a controlled drug: acts prohibited charge out of Salem from October 2015.
