CONCORD, NH — A fugitive wanted on a warrant since May has been found, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Daren Keith Gragg Sr., 43, was arrested Thursday, reportedly hiding out in a family member's apartment on Pembroke Drive in Derry after the District of New Hampshire - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force received a tip. Gragg was being sought on a warrant from the state parole board as well as a stalking warrant issued by Manchester police.

In May, when the warrant was issued for his arrest by the parole board, Gragg had been found guilty and sentenced to multiple firearm related offenses, according to Jeffrey white, a deputy marshal. Marshals, however, received a tip recently from a parole officer.

"This information pointed investigators to a relative’s apartment in Derry," White said. "Members of the NH Joint Fugitive Task Force went to this apartment, where they were able to gain access and locate and arrest Mr. Gragg as he was hiding behind a bedroom door."

It was only a matter of time before Gragg was caught – due to his long criminal history, including a previous affiliation with the street gang known as Impact when he was a teenager in the 1990s.

His previous convictions included felony criminal restraint in 1998, felony bail jumping in 1997, first-degree assault in 1997, a Class B misdemeanor for carrying a weapon in 1996, and a Class A misdemeanor theft by deception in 1998.

Gragg and a woman were arraigned in Seabrook District Court on burglary charges after a standoff with police on Lafayette Road in January 2014. At the time, he had a number of other active warrants for fraud, failure to appear, obtaining drugs using a false name, and impersonating a police officer in Derry, Keene, Londonderry, and Manchester, according to a story on Patch.

In 2008, Gragg was arrested in Vermont on a fugitive warrant. At the time, he was in the process of attempting to become a corrections official in that state using the "Michael Finney" alias, according to press reports.
